NEW SITE FOR 2013
North Lonsdale Agricultural Show
Recreation Hall Fields, Urswick, Nr Ulverston, Cumbria.

Welcome to Ulverston and North Lonsdale Show’s website.
This year we have moved to a new site in Urswick next to the Primary School and Recreation Hall. The fields are flat and set amongst beautiful countryside. We do hope that you will come and support us there. The Committee are beavering away getting the site ready, cutting hedges, rebuilding walls, putting in new entrance gates and generally doing everything possible to make our first year on this new site a success.
'Cyril the Squirrel' is coming to entertain us this year in the main ring, we are sure that adults and children alike will enjoy his antics.
Cuerden Birds of Prey will once again be showing us displays and demonstrations with their magnificent birds,
Barrow Vintage Motorcyle Club are putting on a display of vintage motorcycles - surely an opportunity to remember times gone by and relive those days.
Rolande will be demonstrating her chain saw carving.
The Cattle Championship is continuing this year with £100 for the Supreme Champion., £50 for the Reserve Supreme Champion, £50 for the Dairy Champion and £50 for the Beef Champion. We hope this will be as well supported as it was last year.
This year we are having a Sheep Championship with £50 for the Champion Sheep, £25 for Reserve Champion Sheep and £15 for each Best of Breed
Once again we are having Alice's Dog Show which proved very successful last year(please click here for details), which is very kindly being organised by Simon and Cathy Broomfield of Verstone Kennels, Mascalles. People will be able to enter on the day only.
We will of course have the usual cattle, sheep, horse, rabbit and poultry classes and well as the horticultural and children’s classes.
The ever popular rural craft marquee will be there as will other trade and craft stands.
Keep the children entertained with a visit to the 'Kid's Zone'
We are also trying to arrange a complimentary bus from Barrow this year - further details later.
